Second Wife

Before anyone goes on a spiel about fidelity blah blah blah, let me clear things up. I have 3 wives. Not 1, but 3. My first wife is the missus @ wifey. My second wife has been with me since secondary school and my third wife, I keep outside in the house porch. Second wife happens to be my guitar, which I spruced up real nice after years of abuse and neglect under me dad’s bed. I “inherited” her after he gave his blessings to us. My third wife is my trustee car, if you must know. Busybody! Which is also why she “sleeps” outside the house.

So what’s so earth shattering about this revelation of my infidelity? Well, after not touching my 2nd wife for about a year, I broke my celibacy last night. I felt her quiver under my soft touch. Running my fingers across her delicate frame and pulling at her strings. Caressing her fretboard ever so gently. Almost feels like my first time. When she was still a virgin, well technically not, but still…

Admittedly, my fingering sucks after not practising for soooo long. In fact, I’ve forgotten some of the basic chords. Woe is me!!! I’ve also forgotten most of the songs I used to play from memory. Some did come back to me naturally like Classical Romanza, since I used to play it all the time. Also did not forget Seal & Croft’s - Summer Breeze. I finished our night together with my favourite piece, Peter, Paul & Mary’s - Leaving on a Jetplane.

Irregardless of my all my unfaithfulness that night, I spent my last waking moments hugging my first wife. She is still number one in my heart ;) Luv ya LPC!

So how’s married life?

When I was younger, the de facto question to be asked would be, “Where are you working now?” or something similar during family reunions. However, that all changes after you get married. The “IN” question now is, “So, how’s married life?” followed by a smile or a grin. Not only from family members, but friends as well.

Honestly, in the beginning it was kinda cute and bearable. After hearing it over and over again, it get’s a bit cliched, ya know. Sometimes it’s the same person over the span of a couple of months. I somehow long for the, “What are you doing now or how’s life” greetings now.

If you MUST know, it’s been good. We’re still learning about one another and not killing one another at times. Misunderstandings and arguments are all part and parcel of sharing our new lives together. We know that. Forgive and forget. Move on. We both have our strengths and areas of improvement. No one is perfect, so they say ;) One thing for sure is, she is building tolerance for the real Nawooz. I’m glad we both met and decided to walk this path together, my dear. It’s the small things you do, which makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. I love you more and more each day, although I may show it in the weirdest circumstances. Looking forward many many more years ahead of us.

Which brings me back to my yesteryear posts…how do you know she or he, is the ONE(tm)? I still haven’t got my finger on it, but I think it’s quite safe to say, when the time comes…you will know. Give it some time and consideration. If things don’t look awesome in the beginning, it may after a while ;) Who knows right.

Now, I’m gonna start preparing for the next barrage of questions…”When are you gonna have kids??!!”. Confirm can die lar this one.

Tribute to Life!

FINALLY IT’S OVAHHH!!!!!!! All them wedding dinners are done. Finito! Sunday was the final dinner we had. This was for Cat’s family and friends and it was in Alor Star, Kedah. That’s a good 5 hours drive up north. Dad as usual left the driving to me. Note to Dad, I will not be responsible for any speeding tickets mkayyyy. That’s what you get for letting your son, who had less than 2 hours of sleep drive. Thankfully I managed to slip a cuppa coffee along the Tapah highway rest. Else it would have been a preeeeetty interesting drive.

Anywho, the dinner turned out to be a big fanfare for the Alor Star folks. Seems like everyone turned up for our wedding dinner. That and the other 12 other wedding dinners that night. Someone stole my spotlight *hmpphhh* The pictures should be up soon at the previous link I posted. The only interesting thing to note during my entire Kedah visit was the rain. It rained cats and dogs and frogs and cows man! Odd for such a dry state. Oh well, at least it kept the temperatures low. And the food. Oh my fricckin cows! If I drew KL pay and lived in Alor Star, I would be a pretty big pig. No offense to the creatures. The BBQ chicken wings there are the shiznits! Not the Kate Moss thin kind, but good old Buffalo wings size. They also cost RM1.50 per pop. That’s about a buck cheaper than KL and much bigger as well. WOOTILICIOUS! Alright. Enough of pimping the dinner.

Now to my main topic. It’s 30 May 07 now. So………..

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO MY SISTAHS!!!!!

Fel, my flesh and blood sis and Mhay, my adopted sis! Fel’s was on 29 May 07, but who cares. I’ve already taken her out for a nice birthday breakfast and have pledged to sell my soul for her EXPENSIVE PRESENT. Am already feeling the draft in my empty pockets. Even my bank account echoes with pin drop silence.

(T_T)

*Sob Sob*

If you wanna read more about the person, who made me broke, head on over to her blog at: http://fel-seude.blogspot.com/. Oit! You owe me advertising fee for pimping your blog!!! Also, your leet speek suxorzzz. MUAAHAHAHAA. It’s 1337 and not L337 lar. So Ah Lianzzz man. Go correct it now please. Don’t make me lose face wei. Me got reputation to keep. LADIDA dot dot dot

And how could I forget Mhay!!! Mhayness! Though our meeting be short, but I will always cherish those memories during AC 2005! Waaaazzzzzuuuuupppppp. HAHAHA. I have to say maraming salamat to you for all the Tagalog lessons. Did I mention she is addicted to our teh tarik??!! This woman actually begs people to buy the pre-mix ones from Malaysia if they visit her in the Philippines.

(-__-)”

I should form a teh tarik smuggling gang, operating in South East Asia

Mhay is on my blog list, but in case you’ve blinked, here it is: http://adreamcatcher.multiply.com/. Don’t forget to check out this woman’s adventures! She has passion for life. More than I can say about some people I know out there. You go gal!!!

Last but not least. All those months of constant visits to Shan’s blog has paid off. He is very much alive and kicking! Luckily I haven’t deleted him off my blog list, as I’ve always hoped he would be back. So I’m also pimping his blog this time around. Welcome back Shan! Hope you stay on yeah. Shan’s blog has been updated pretty frequently and is at http://djyakuza.blogspot.com/.

There, my little tribute to life and friends. So semangat now. Makes me wanna sing Elton John’s, Can You Feel The Love Tonight, of the Lion King’s infamy.

All Framed Up - Wedding Pics

***UPDATES*** Cat has finished like 99% of the wedding pictures uploading! So head on over to the link below and do leave us a comment ;)

I’ve been receiving lotsa SMSes about the wedding photos. We apologize for the delays, but there are just TOO MANY to filter out at the moment. We had a couple of camera men during the wedding dinner. So far, we’ve got everything from both my cousin brother’s cam and recently just got the rest from Ian, the professional photographer we hired.

Let me just say, I liked the way Ian did business. Very professional and reasonably priced. In fact, he was very cincai with us. Look after your cameraman well and he will look after you well. Good tips eh. For those looking to hire a photographer, drop me a comment and I’ll pass you Ian’s contact information.

Ok, enough of banter. The pictures are still being uploaded, albeit painstakingly. The site hosting it is: http://www.mywedding.com/nawcath/. Feel free to grab any for memory sake. There should be more pictures coming soon as my wifey tells me. So keep it bookmarked if you have to.

Also, something sad happened to my good friend, Eddy Han. His grandpa past away recently. A moment of silence to honour this great loss. Eddy Han, if you’re reading this. I said it before and I’ll say it again, they never leave us. If you need a shoulder to cry on, mine’s already taken. Use June’s instead yeah ;) Chill bro.

Me am back

Helloooooo.

I’m back from my breakkie. It’s nice to have a rest after all that tense moments leading to the wedding night. I’m in the midst of compiling a list of feedback for the hotel. Seems like the food was good, but the service department could use a little fine tuning. Thanks for all the good wishes. The wife is building a site to host some stuff on the wedding and hopefully it will be up soon. I’ll post the link up here when it’s done.

So what does a person with one week to kill do? Nothing! That’s the best part ain’t it. Basically, we just lazed the whole day and ate when we were hungry and slept when we were sleepy. Reminds me why I wanted to be a professional beach bum so much. After countless hours catching up on TV series and mindless mind wanderings, I’ve come up with a list of dumb stuff.

1) How come CSI agents take hair samples without so much as a shower cap? What if their dandruff contaminates the evidence?

2) Who the hell writes the Desperate Housewives script? The person is a genius I tell ya! One of the reasons why I watch it in the first place.

3) Do evil spirits fear salt bullets or holy water more? Supernatural seems to have got me mixed up. The one thing I do know for sure, go with Silver if you are in doubt. Also, salt the bones and burm ‘em if you think they’re gonna end up as bad spirits.

4) Chinese serials should get better script writers for their endings. I hate a stupid ending, especially after sitting through 40 episodes. Makes me wanna bite someone, you know…

5) Brazil maybe a good vacation spot for reasons like the beach, booze and babes. But they also have syndicates, who harvest your organs. Ewwwww, gross!

6) If you ain’t cool, it’s coz you’re not SPARRTANNNN!!!!!

7) How cool is it, you get to work on screen with your dad? Will Smith is my hero in “The Pursuit of Happyness”. And before some readers crucify me for my spelling, it’s supposed to be spelt “happiness”.

8) Malaysia harbours the biggest, baddest pirates of them all! I don’t care what you say. Movie pirates, that is.  Muaahhahahaha.

Ok, now I’ve got that off my chest. It’s time to add a special token of thanks to my dear Eddy Han for being my wedding Master of Ceremony. Dude, I’m so gonna kick your arse for the stunts you pulled on stage man. RAWRRRRR. But still, thanks a lot for all your advice. Not forgetting June as well.

Also, I can’t forget me parents, who had countless sleepless nights and also my sistah!!! She was the floor manager for the day yeah. All your queries would have probably gone to her. Two thumbs and toes, UP!!!!
