Signs of aging?

Driving home today, my mind sorta wandered (kids, don't try this at home) and it got me thinking about my past. I would say I had a priviledged childhood. Dad used to be in Sales and the family got to travel a fair bit. I wasn't the "popular" kid or anything, but I somehow fit in and have great friends at every point of my life.

Then I started to recall some of the stuff I did and somehow it made me feel...young? Gosh, I seriously feel old when typing this out. It's the same thing when I meet up with my buddies. We tend to look back on the good ol' days. Which explains why many of the old uncles tend to hangout at coffeeshops and spent hours sipping their coffee and shooting the breeze. Guess I'm not nearly there yet, but on the track.

This is happening before I'm 30. Wonder what it would be like at 40...Gotta start getting used to being called "Uncle" now.

>_<"

Flashbacks

OMG!!! People still remember this old foggy! So touched. I'm still here and still alive, unfortunately. Hehe. Year 2007 came and went in a blink of an eye. Let's recap my year eh. I know this is waaaayyyy overdue, but it's my blog...so, humour this old man okayyyyy ^__6

Year 2007 highlights:

1) Left my work place of 3+ years in hope of greener pastures. Still looking...

2) The [aSa] clan reunion in Port Dickson after many many months. Total attendees: 5 - Shum, Thiru, Sani, wifey and mua. Ended up driving to Malacca at 9pm after we arrived for the famous "Satay Chelup".

3) Gate-crashed wifey's reunion with her old friends in Gentings. Learnt to play Roulette from wife. Awesome.

4) Went back to Thailand to visit my extended family. Covered the highlands of Chiang Rai this time. Do you know that the Chinese and Taiwanese actually conquered the hills of Chiang Rai. Throw a stone and you will hit 3 shops selling home-grown Chinese tea there. Pictures to come once my wifey is done uploading. Both of us had food poisoning the day before we flew back to KL. Not pretty on a 1 hour+ flight!!!! How I detest thee, Salmonella or mebbe it was E. Coli.

Year 2008 started with a BANG! My best buddy Chee Wei, whom I've known since Secondary 1, got hitched last night. Wishing him and his wife "white hair till old" and more Chee Wei juniors to come.

EDIT: What's up with Friendster and Facebook. I keep adding people, but I still haven't figured out why people are super-Poking or Turning me into a Vampire or Werewolf. Confused la!
