The Hill of Life

Once a while, Life throws you a curve ball. A little challenge or speed bump on your journey. Some other times, you get thrown a hill in your path to climb.

Being human, governed by Logic, most people stop at the foothill wondering if they should climb that hill or turn back and head the other way. There are some, who chose to pitch a tent at the foothill and wait for the hill to crumble in time. Those who chose to climb that hill, often wonder if their choice was right. Will the rewards stack up to the effort spent? What lies over yonder hills? Could it be a pot of gold or heartbreak waiting to greet them.

The strong-willed individual then comes upon a fork in their path up the hill. Left or right? Maybe turn back, due to a last minute change in mind and will power? Where does one find strength to continue the journey up? I believe people coined the term, “taking a leap of Faith”, to illustrate this.

Why the sudden ramble on hills and what not? Well, things at work have gone from mundane and predictable to certain uncertainty. Sense the irony in that? My fellow colleague once said something, which hits a note now, there’s no such thing as job security. I can’t tell you how much this person is right! THERE IS NOOOO SUCH THING AS JOB SECURITY! Even if you did everything right and put in all you’ve got. Life’s like that, I guess.

As I type this now, I’m donning on my hiking boots and gear to climb that pesky hill, which suddenly popped outta nowhere. I’m also prepared for that fork in my path upwards, but I sure wish I had a helicopter to save me all that trouble. Hehehe. C’mon, a little humour never killed anyone. Hmm..unless the dude has a weak heart. Anywho, remember my words and keep them close to you, it’s copyrighted by Nawooz by the way!

    Hmmmm…..
Based on my experience, at the start, you’ll see stars, moon, the housing lights on the land underneath.. Marvelous feeling, the strength of the pills called “Authority” suddenly became stronger.
As days goes by ( not that long, very soon one ) later, you are expose to the word called Loneliness, you don’t have companion around which you can share your story, the others which hanging the same level usually busy and practically un-frenly.…. Then you will recall the time when things are so naïve and simple.. You’ll miss the days.
Once in the blue ( week usually ), you’ll meet with thunderstorm… If lucky, you won’t get strike. But sometimes, you got hit. Then again, unprepared rain will falls even the sun is shinning bright. No worries, things will always come right at the end….

Move with the wind, my frens… Move with it.
    Don’t die like me……

PS : Just my two cents.. Don’t worry lah… Even I die like so many times, I’m still standing on my feet!

    I’m a survivor..
I’m not gon give up …
    I’m not gon stop …
    I’m gon work harder …
    I’m a survivor …
    I’m gonna make it …
    I will survive …
    Keep on survivin’ ..
