The trains go Choo! Choo!

Okiedoke. This is a catch up post. Haven’t been very dedicated to posting off late. Internet line at home has been a total *toot* and I usually post during the odd hours while working. Shhh! Don’t let my boss know ^__^||

I’ve got like a brain-full of stuff and I need to get them down in coherent writing, but I’ll settle with getting them down in writing instead. First and foremost, poor Kymkym bludgeoned her month old Myvi when she came to my office for a lunch date. It’s the 2nd time her car has met with an accident at the same vicinity!!! Must be the feng shui at the place. Either that or she needs a serious dose of mandi bunga (bathing with flower water). Anyway, she got quoted RM500 to fix a fender bender and thankfully not much body damage involved. So ke lian and felt so bad for her. On the bright side, she bought empat ekor (4D lottery) after that. Hopefully all that bad luck will turn soon.

Talk about bad luck, poor http://www.kukujiao.com/ kena hacked by someone, who couldn’t use proper grammar. Ironic. Thankfully Earl came online for a shortwhile. He is letting his host fix it. So, stay tuned for any improvements to his blog. It’s a pity people have to resort to these tactics just to get attention. Go blog lar if you want attention. Gah!!!

Also last week, I had a friendly chat with an old colleague. She had some really hard questions for me. Being my usual self, I answered as best as I could. I guess I haven’t lost touch. People still approach me for advice or just lending a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on(tm). Sometimes in life, that is all you need. Someone to notice and share. Reminded me of what Susan Sarandon said in the movie, “Shall We Dance”.

quote: “All these promises that we make and we break…why is it that you think people get married? Because we need a witness to our lives. There’s a billion people on the planet, I mean what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you’re promising to care about everything…the good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things…all of it, all the time, every day. You’re saying… Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go unwitnessed, because I will be your witness.” unquote.

Beautiful isn’t it? I purposely bolded the best bit. Susan (or the script writer) hit the nail on the spot, so to speak.

Also, not forgetting something very the importante today.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, MOM!!!!!!

Took my mom out for big makan session last night. Mom doesn’t like us splurging on gifts for her, but she likes food. Made the reservation and ordered 2 of their signature dishes, I knew Mom likes. Picked sis up from work and then headed to Secret Recipe for their cake-o selection. Oishii Desu. We had a 6 course dinner with 3 cake slices. The meal did not leave a huge hole in my pocket. I was expecting it to be well over a hundred bucks, but the total came up to RM70++. WTFish man. Like that I can take my parents out for makan more often. Seeing how my dad menganggur (jobless) and all now. Teeheehee. Maybe I should drop hints for him to sell his fishes. Ladida. I think he would sell me first before he got to that. He.Loves.His.Fishies.Fullstop. That would explain me being a kuli (hard labourer) over the past weekend transporting an aquarium and stand, in a Toyota Unser from Kelana Jaya to Rawang.

I forgot I had muscles in my arms until it ached the following morning. The joys of lactic acid. Tiger Balm patches work wonders for muscle aches, but nothing beats good ol’ Metholatum Deep Heat Rub ointment or spray. Syiok, Stim, Supahhhhhh. Feels like a hundred soldier ants marching on your skin after application. Sends a shiver down my spin now thinking of it. Ok, enough blogging. Need to get back to actual work. Surfing other people’s blogs before checking my e-mails. Fun hor! On a Sunday morning samore!!!!! (-____-#)
