bad news
i was told that there would be bad news coming my way, today. seems like i have been receiving more and more of these lately. when will my bad streak end? no wonder they say, “when it rains, it pours”.
keeping my hopes high, though. hoping i will pull through in one piece. life. if it throws me lemons, i make lemonade, but when it throws you durians, that’s going to be a wee bit difficult.

hehe.. just like me??? well. i kept my bow up high and the folowing week was nice for me.. maybe u should take a time off… go for a vacation or something.. relax with ur girlfriend or just go to the beach and hook up with any girl there if u got no girlfriend.. lol… i mean, just chill man..
oh. if life throw durians, u can make fermented durians called tempoyak..
beach sounds good, but there are obstacles to cross at work. maybe later. and going with girls to the beach. not such a good idea. girls usually avoid the sun cause it makes them tanned. sidenote, i prefer tanned. muahaha. any recommendations of a god beach spot?
i’m keeping my wand, hands, feet and head up high hoping against all odds for a miracle. wish me luck.
p.s. tempoyak can be offensive at times. i think i’ll make durian ice-cream or dodol with it.
ha. you’ve hit all of my favs. i love getting to the beach. i enjoyed getting tanned. seriously. purposely go to the beach and get tanned. and i was just about to say make durian ice cream and aiya, you got it first. i dont know how far u will venture to seek a good beach spot but i went to bintan during sept. and the beach and pool was quiet. good enuff for a quiet’s moment in life. and if u looking for durian ice cream..let me noe if u dropping by sgp, i’ll intro u to a good ice cream parlour…. sluurrrpp… sluuurrrp… u make me crave for that… Anyway, you’ll be in my prayers. (= all the best man.
blue angel, what can i say…you’re an angel. thanks for brightening my day. seems like i’m getting an awful lot of invitations to go down SGP. ok then. time to make some plans
what’s the name of the ice-cream shop? i think we have something similar in KL. it serves all sorts of dishes/stuff made from durian. quite nice.
i’m now drifting of to a quite beach front resort with a nice cup of ice-cream (maybe durian) and peaceful atmosphere. slice of heaven.
p.s. ok, i’m going through a checklist here. beach-lover, tanned, sweet and caring, loyal, female. check, check, check, check and check. whoa! dream gal. hahaha.

Dream gal?thanks for the compliments. (= brightens my day too… the name of the ice cream shop is called Scoopz. quiet beach front resort?? envious of you having the convenience of being in close proximity of the nature… care to share which beach front resort? hehe… would need that in no time….
what do u mean by the tempoyak may be offensive??? i heard it taste nice.. but then again, it is comming out from a crab’s mouth so i dunno whether can trust or not.. lol
angel, my family and i used to go to Pangkor Island on the west coast of malaysia during the school holidays. we were regulars at a place called Seaview Hotel and specifically room #1. it’s been quite sometime since we last went back there.
a new place i am planning to visit is, Trang in southern thailand. my aunt says it’s beautiful and she will usually take a bus ride down when she feels like it from bangkok sity to escape the hustle and bustle. i think it takes around 4-5 hours by bus. and it’s cheaper to go down to haadyai by coach and then find a local travel agency with the package to Trang.
you can even visit Phi Phi Island (the movie, The Beach staring Leo DiCaprio was shot here) if it wasn’t totally ruined by the tsunami. plus, you will have to wait till the political unrest in the area dies down. however, i do plan on making a trip to phuket or pattaya soon. wanna join me in my escapade?
krabby patty, durian in other forms are ok by me. but tempoyak is semi-fermented and some people find that offensive/repulsive. btw, good luck in your finals! ganbate yo.
wow….escapade in phuket or pattaya?sounds exciting… when are you ‘escaping’ there?
when work permits (T_T) i’m currently trying to ‘upgrade’ myself at work to version 2.0 or else i will become obsolete and lose my usefulness. not an easy task, but i’m learning more. hopefully, i will be able to have some ‘me-time’ later.
phuket and pattaya are a bit touristy, but good cause the infrastructure is there. southern thailand is a heaven for backpackers and it’s the local’s well kept secret. paradise.
very good!
