i came across an interesting article yesterday. a guy, who found himself unattractive (read low self-esteem), wrote to this newsletter. it said that his wife, who happened to me gorgeous, was sleeping around. the funny thing was, he said that it was OK to him, as he was willing to make that compromise!! can you believe that?! how could his wife actually do that to him, even when she darn well knew it was no bloody excuse. i am not condemning all women, but the one in this story. that man, is worth his weight in gold and she’d better start thinking straight. it got me thinking about myself though, where do i draw the line between harmless flirting and cheating. my answer, i don’t really know, but i follow my gut feeling most of the time. i try to put myself in my partner’s position. how would i feel if that was her out doing the exact same thing. save to say, i think i haven’t had any problems with that so far (touchwood). my reason to her, would be, there is no temptation to cheat if you don’t see temptation ;). in economics, people term this as supply and demand. if there is no demand (the want to cheat), then naturally, the issue of supply doesn’t exist. why? because there was no need for it in the first place. the other thing to remember is, don’t go looking for trouble if you don’t want trouble looking for you. i think this was taught to me during my Diploma years. i have a friend, who you might say is quite good looking. he is taken by the way. the problem with him is, he sends of wrong body language/signals to the opposite sex. i was told by a close friend once that she felt uncomfortable with this. so don’t go looking for trouble. be aware of your verbal and non-verbal cues. i try to be nice and sociable, but it is a formality. i’ve had the pleasure of having quite a few capricorns and from my observation. they are mostly faithful dudes. me so proud of you guys man. does this automatically make me faithful and a non-cheater. well, that’s for me to know and for you to find out i guess. good night world.
