i met a monkey

i met monkey via a friend about a week ago. what started out as a harmless conversation, is now the reason i’m penning my thoughts down. how is it possible for a person to convey mutual feelings, without having ever met the other party? in recent conversations, i have gathered, that she is in college, studying IT. she has similar taste, as I, and generally seems like a fun person. this however, doesn’t lessen the stigma of online relationships. maybe i am analyzing this too much, but things have sped up considerably. it just baffles me, how easy things are now compared to my past experiences. could it be due to the fact, that i have gained much more knowledge of the fairer sex over the years, to actually come across as a viable ‘candidate’?

i am sure many, are faced with similar questions and are in similar situations as me. the advent of the Internet, has opened many portals for companionship and empowers women to be proactive rather than reactive. times are a-changing. women have stepped out of the shadows, into the limelight. i say, good for them. it’s about time too, but i’ll save this for another blog. there’s monkey business to attend to now.

emo: you know how a deer feels like when it is staring into the headlamps of a vehicle, that’s about to hit it? something similar along that lines. more of a train-wreck actually.
